Government Medical College Patiala New Vacancy 2026 Application are invited from the medical graduates for the selection of 20 house Surgeons/Physicians in the various super specialties viz. 4 seats in Plastic Surgery, 3 seats each in Pediatric Surgery, Urology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Neurology and 1 seat in Emergency Department for the session starting from 01/07/26 to 31/12/26. @Rs.30,000/– per month as stipend. The prospective candidates who have already completed or will be completing their one year compulsory rotator internship on or before 30/06/26 should apply on the signed by after which no application will be entertained.

Government Medical College Patiala New Vacancy 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must possess the minimum qualification of MBBS from a Recognized University. 2) The candidate should be registered with the Punjab State Medical Council or any other State/UT Medical Council, 3) The candidates should be physically/mentally fit according to standards of fitness prescribed for entrance to the Punjab State Service. 4) Every House surgeon/Physician on appointment will have to sign an undertaking not leave the House job incomplete. 5) Each appointee will deposit security amounting to Rs. 500/-only on the spot. 6) All House jobs are residential. Rent free accommodation will be provided subject to the availability. However, they will have to pay Electricity and water charges. 7) Private Practice in any shape/form will not be permitted. 8) No Certificate will be issued for incomplete house job. 9) If at any stage any document or information found to be false the house job will be cancelled and no stipend and certificate will be given. |
